The Color of Love’s Dance
$2,499.00Ross Sea, Antarctica. A pair of emperor penguins displaying to one another with elegant and graceful gestures with heads and flippers. This helps to cement a strong bond between males and females that breed in the bitter cold and darkness of the Antarctic winter. Emperors are now threatened by the impact of rising temperatures due to global warming. At times the fast ice chosen as breeding sites begins to melt and break up before the chicks are fully fledged and ready to enter the water. Unless we begin to tackle the climate crisis the emperor penguin could disappear from its starkly beautiful frozen home.
