$2,499.00Moru Kopje, Serengeti, Tanzania. A lioness lies on an ancient granite outcrop known as a kopje (from the Afrikaans for 'little head' at sunrise. Some of the oldest rocks on earth are found in the Serengeti, dating back more than 3 billion years. The lioness appears as an ancient symbol moulded from nature, evoking wonder in the eyes of the human beholder. The Serengeti is the last stronghold of African wildlife, a Pleistocene vision evoking the time when man was a part of nature and survived by competing with the great predators out on the savanna and among the woodlands.
