Family Portrait
$250.00Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. Dada the Marsh Lioness and her cubs: Solo, Moja and Mbili (2017). A mother lioness is fiercely defensive of her cubs and will attempt to fight off any attempts by strange adult male lions attempting to kill them. Less than 50% of lion cubs attain adulthood. We stand in awe of the lion, a creature that was once the most widespread large mammal on earth after man.
